Who it is for

Runners and racers who head out in cold, wet weather, plus obstacle racers. The Contagrip outsole carries 5.8 mm chevron lugs, among the deepest on any mainstream trail shoe, digging in where shallower soles slide. A firm EnergyCell+ midsole keeps the shoe predictable on uneven terrain, and a thick mesh upper keeps debris out and survives being dragged through undergrowth.
