On Cloudmonster 3 Hyper PEBA Super Trainer Running Shoe

Where the standard Cloudmonster 3 is deliberately firm, the On Cloudmonster 3 Hyper goes the other way. On rebuilt the shoe around PEBA, creating a soft, tall and genuinely bouncy super trainer for daily training, long runs and tempo work.

What changed

Standard Helion foam is replaced by Helion HF, far softer at 37.2 AC versus 49.9. The Speedboard is gone, so the ride comes purely from foam and nothing forces a pace. Around 20% more foam is added, yet the shoe is 38 g lighter and 5 mm taller. Lab testing recorded 66.1% energy return at the heel and 69.4% at the forefoot.
