Tall stack, rock-solid stability. The On Cloudboom Max is On's stable super trainer, built for daily training, long runs and tempo days, and an especially strong match for runners who land on their heel.

How it rides

Two layers of Helion HF foam, a PEBA-based top over a TPEE-based base, surround a fiberglass plate rather than carbon. Visible cutouts let the plate flex through the midfoot and forefoot instead of locking you into one pace. Paired with maximum heel-counter stiffness, the result is an unusually steady platform for its height.
