Hoka Cielo X1 2.0 PEBA Carbon Super Shoe

Hoka's flagship racer came back lighter, cooler and sharper. The Cielo X1 2.0 shed 41 g in lab testing, dropping to around 208 g, and swapped the old corduroy-textured upper for breathable engineered jacquard mesh.

How it rides

Aggressive and propulsive, this is a true super shoe for race day and hard tempo work, from 10K up to the marathon, and it is World Athletics legal. A supercritical PEBA midsole in two densities surrounds a winged carbon plate whose forked heel scoops beneath the rearfoot. Hoka states a 7 mm drop.

• Supercritical PEBA foam, the lightest and springiest Hoka uses
• Full-length winged carbon plate with forked heel for a stiff, driving toe-off
• Major weight cut versus the original Cielo X1
• Jacquard mesh upper with 3D screen-printed and TPU overlays
• Black, Blue and White colorway with the plate showing at the sidewall

Fit & sizing

Order your regular racing size. Shipping is free and tracked door to door.

Most performance running shoes are built on a single unisex last: the shoe is identical, only the size label changes. A US women's 8.5 is a US men's 7.

Use the unit switch above to move between US men's, US women's, EU and UK, or open the size guide for the full conversion chart.

Between two sizes? Email us before you order and we will help you choose. Size exchanges are accepted within 30 days of delivery.

Free shipping on every order, with no minimum. Orders are delivered in 4 to 12 business days, preparation and transit included, and tracking is emailed as soon as your parcel is dispatched.

Business days only: weekends and public holidays are not counted. Orders placed after the daily cut-off, at the weekend or on a public holiday are processed on the next business day, and periods of high demand can add extra time. Full terms: Shipping Policy.
